Fall Foliage 5k/10k Fun Walk

Midland Walkabout Club will again sponsor this magestic fall foliage walk along a well maintained trail. The foliage in the canyon rivals that of New England. It is absolutely breathtaking.

The trail is smooth and easy to follow. but there are a couple of creek crossings so be prepared to get your feet wet if you slip on one of the stepping stones. Otherwise tennis or walking shoes and a bottle of water will be all you need. There are no concessions in the park so you should also bring a lunch to eat on the trail or at the picnic area at the start point.

Transportaion is by van for $25.00/person or private auto. We will meet behind the Jumboritto Restaurant at 4509 N Midkiff Dr in Midland. The van will leave at 5:30am and arrive at the park at about 9:00am. Plans are to leave the park about 3:00pm and return to Midland about 6:00.
